After working on the web experience for Instant Ink enrollment, I was tapped to design the same experience for the HP All-in-One printer remote app on Android and iOS. Working closely with our app development team, I documented the technical flows in each mobile operating system to capture any limitations that I would need to account for when designing the user journey. Another important factor to consider was that the enrollment flow occurred after the user completed the printer setup flow in the app. This meant that the flow needed to be as lightweight as possible to account for the user's mental load

Instant Ink Enrollment Screens
After the user successfully completed printer setup in the app they were prompted to enroll for Instant Ink by entering the enrollment code that came with their printer. The enrollment code was tied to a specific plan, saving the user the step of having to choose a plan. From there, the user would be prompted to enter both billing and shipping information. Since the user had already set up their printer, they did not have to go through this step as in the web enrollment flow.

Instant Ink Enrollment Screens
To accommodate the limited real estate on a mobile device, I employed an accordion UI pattern to limit the amount of scrolling the user had to do.
