Nike | 2015 - Present

Business Systems Analyst/ UI/UX Designer

Most recently I've been working at Nike as part of their Brand Marketing Technology team creating software tools for Nike's Global Brand Management organization. As a Business Systems Analyst and UI/UX designer, I have spent the last two years working on a complete overhaul of the organization's Digital Asset Mangement tool, Crate, used by thousands of employees in Nike GBM.

Hewlett-Packard | 2013-2015

Interaction Designer

At Hewlett Packard I was an interaction designer on their Global Experience Design team. I led the design efforts for the All-in-One printer remote app and their Instant Ink ink subscription service.

Symantec | 2009-2013

Interaction Designer

My group at VeriSign was acquired by Symantec in 2009, and I was moved on to a multi year project to completely overhaul their existing Managed Public Key Infrastructure (MPKI) product. This involved a year of UX research, where I helped conduct user interviews, create personas, and develop user stories that guided the next phase of the project. I then worked primarily as an interaction designer, creating flows, wireframes, and prototypes. I also helped with visual UI design.

VeriSign | 2007-2009

Interaction Designer

My first project at VeriSign was working on a redesign of their mobile media messaging application, Picture Mail, which was used by nearly all of the major mobile carriers. I then joined their internal UX team, where did UI and interaction design for several of their consumer facing information security products.

IMVU | 2006-2007

Interactive Designer

IMVU is an avatar based chat service created by the same people who founded There.com. I joined the team early on and worked as an interactive advertising design, designing for campaigns to drive adoption and retention. I worked on the IMVU.com website.

LIFT Agency (formerly CreativeLIFT) | 2006-2010 (Freelancer)

Interactive Designer

I spent four years as a freelance designer for the agency formerly known as Creative Lift, now Lift Agency, in San Francisco. I worked on campaigns for their two biggest clients, Vonage and Charter Communications, creating interactive advertisements and landing pages. In addition, I also redesigned Vonage.com home page as well as one for Charter.

NexTag | 2006-2006

Interactive Designer

I worked as an interactive advertising designer, mass producing Flash based ads in a highly data driven environment.

Cisco Systems | 2004-2005

Technical Marketing Designer

At Cisco Systems, I worked as a technical marketing designer on a team supporting their IOS software solutions. I created PowerPoint decks to help sales engineers explain and sell the different features to customers. I also created interactive animated graphics in Flash, that illustrated the technology behind those solutions in a user friendly way.

I worked as a web designer for the groundbreaking virtual world startup, creating wireframes and mockups for the in-world portal and website.
